A Christmas surprise at Walmart

So... After being at Chuck E Cheese for Kaisa's birthday, we were going to stop and see Grama and Grampa Great, (my parents). Dad answered their cell phone and said they were are Walmart, grama was getting her hair done. That was great because we needed to get a few things for dinner any way. I told dad not to say anything to mom, we would come in and surprise her. We got to Walmart and sent Kaydance in to surprise her and give her a hug. Grama was surprised to see her. I was sneaky then and grabbed the photo below. He he. It worked out too as Santa Claus was there and I had my camera still in the baby's diaper bag from the birthday party. I was able to get Kaydee and Tiff with Santa, and then Ashton with Santa. He is such a good natured baby that it didn't bother him to be held by strangely dressed people! What a great picture!!!!

The Big 50!!!!

So I turned the Big 50 on the 28th. No Big deal, I don't feel any different, I feel like I am still only in my 30s! yeah right!!!! I am not a big birthday person for myself. Never really have been. Just let me set up my Christmas tree, a little snow, and maybe a bowl of frosting. (ha ha) Actually the frosting is just a bit too sweet for me lately, after all, still trying to lose more weight. And I was a little tired to put up my tree, after all, I still have 27 days to do it....... and it has been a bit too warm for Snow......So, we didn't really do anything extraordinary. Tiffany spent the day with a friend, Joe slept most of the day, Scott, well naturally he slept most of the day, and I, well, I did dishes from the Thanksgiving dinner, took a nap for a bit, and then went to work at 6:30 p.m.

When I came out of work I found my car had been written on. Okay, fun, ha ha, cool, but when I got home from work, my poor desk was a mess! Well, it was kind of a mess before but it now had streamers and balloons all over it. Probably the best it has looked in years! My desk usually looks like I have been busy, and I usually am. After all, it is hard work playing Mah Jong if I am not working on the Joseph Smith Papers Project. Gotta keep those brain waves going..... especially now that I am 50!!!

Kaisa's 3rd Birthday at Chuck E Cheese

So, Kaisa and I share a birthday. We went to Chuck E Cheese this morning to celebrate her birthday. It was fun watching the kids play. We played for a bit, had Pizza, then played some more. Kaisa was really excited that it was her birthday. She is so cute. She loved running aroung trying out all the rides. She had fun playing with her cousins, too. Kaydance was up for Thanksgiving and got to come play, and Pyper and Jordan were able to come play as well. The pictures say it all!.......
Jordan wasn't too sure about the ride, especially when it started moving back and forth and up and down. Jordan is too fascinated by the face of the ride to look at me. Ashton was content being held by the Chuck E Cheese Mouse. Kaisa gives the mouse a hug.
