So again I went a little over board with the Christmas decorating. I love all the lights. I got the lights on the house about early December and added more a little at a time as it started to get pretty chilly. Once I got the lights and decorations out side squared away I finally got the motivation to decorate inside and put the tree up.
I love the Christmas holiday and all the festivities. I really enjoy driving around and looking at what other people have done with the decorations. I usually put my tree up the end of November on my birthday. That has always been my favorite thing to do for my birthday. I didn't get it up until the 10th this year, just too much going on and feeling pretty tired.
About 5 minutes after I got the tree up the cats had to inspect it. They lay under neath the branches. At least they are n0t trying to climb it this year. A few minutes the tree was knocked over. It got knocked over about 5 times within the first few hours of being put up! The big dog, Ariel, has knocked it over a few times as well. They have learned to leave the tree alone lately. We'll see how long that lasts.
