4th of July at the park and Fireworks ~ 2009

We have a great place to watch the fireworks from the Stadium of Fire without having to fight the traffic leaving BYU stadium. We park near mom and dad's and walk down the road to the park. It is also nice as the kids can run and play, and get out extra energy, and we can relax, and then the fireworks are almost at eye level and we dont have to kink our necks watching the fireworks. It also only takes about 10 minutes to get home at the end of the show.
I actually got Jordan to sit still long enough to get some cute pictures of him! He had fun just running and playing.
Pyper playing in the sand box.
Spencer and Ashton.
Jordan and Ashton.
View of the park and the mountains in the back ground.
A close up of Y- Mountain in the distance.
I kept watching to see if we were going to get rained out, but the weather held out until a bit after the fireworks.
Renee, Spencer and Jordan.
Pyper and her sparkler. She burned a finger on  a sparkler a little after this and we told her to put ice on her finger. She got an ice cube from the cooler, and then would drag the cooler with her and keep her finger in it. It was pretty funny watching her drag the cooler around when she wanted to go somewhere.
Ashton was pretty intrigued with all the sparklers and fireworks people were lighting.
Jordan had fun playing with Grama Great's cane.

A little to the left of the Y on the mountain, there are 2 Apaches.
